Could you show me the post where I told people to stop talking about it.

Thd incident happened
She is convicted
She recieved a punishment
Its news due to her profile

Fuckers demanding that a young woman go to jail are blowhole tossers in my opinion
Unless you are a tosser of that type I fail to see why you are offended

She's not convicted tho and people are quite entitled to ask why she seems to be getting preferential treatment.

How in the fuck is this preferential treatment?
She elbowed one girl who claimed to have a jaw injury but got no medical treatment for it and pinched another girl who might have had a sore neck.
As a result she has had her income destroyed, her life disrupted , she is not playing for cork, her name and character are bring attacked all over the place, she has a 6000 euro fine to pay and despite all that utter pricks are demanding she be jailed.

This is a real person you are talking about, it's not celebrity's gone wild.

This girl behaved badly on a night out , she is now paying the price.

The judge gave a fair indication by his responses that he isn't taking the view that the complainants are consistent in what they are saying from what I read there which suggests that either they were not completely honest or else they were pretty drunk themselves which makes the truth as slippery as an eel

Whether the first girl has an injured jaw or whether the second girl has a sore
neck it is still a fact they were assaulted and should not have happened, i have no issue with the fine and agree with her not getting time, but surely this should be on her record?

That's called an opinion
However , the law in general is trying to balance punishment with rehabilitation.
People receive fines every day of the week for offences which they pay and the record of their conviction is expunged.

A criminal conviction affects your entire life.
You are making no sense at all.
Aisling Thompson pleaded guilty thereby acknowledging it shouldn't have happened. Tge judge demonstrated it shouldn't have happened by passing a sentence he deemed appropriate.
The injurys were minor or non existent

The issue which seems to have escaped your attention is that some posters here are calling for her to be jailed.

Did you not read that her entire income has been destroyed?
That she has stepped away from playing for cork ?

The purpose of the court is to return offenders to being productive members of society
The court ruling reflects that perfectly.
If she complys with the ruling she gets no criminal record if she fails to comply she does get a record
What's so difficult for you to grasp?

It is called an “opinion” and you’d want to accept others are entitled to one.
