Watching that new drama just there. Is it 'Taken Down' or something. The one about refugees and whore houses. Anyway, it seems every second word of dialogue is 'Fuck' or some derivative of same. I mean how did they write this shit? "We just need to emphasise that the character is serious/gritty, so we'll just stick in another fuck in that sentence.

If the Gards in this shit are even remotely like the Gards in real life, then we much bigger problems than the McCabe thing. If the most senior officers in Dublin are sitting around saying things like - 'Don't make a bollox of the fucking thing,' 'I will in me hoop' and 'I'm like every other jarred up fat bastard trying to get me hole' - then the most senior Gards in this state are absolute morons. Fuck is a great word, until it's fucking well over fucking used!!!

The “southern editor,” is from Kerry, which leads to reporting trivia from Killarney or Tralee on Friday nights or Monday mornings.

They sent Paschal Sheehy down to Kerry for Storm Ophelia which then bypassed the place completely. Paschal sitting out near Waterville in a gentle breeze and they had no one in Cork which took a huge battering.

Ah now, Paschal is from down there. He needs to get back there whenever he can. And sure Cork doesn’t warrant a correspondent: it just needs a “Southern Editor,” from Kerry.

In fairness, Paul Byrne over on Virgin Media is far better. And doesn’t cost the licence payer a penny.

Deadwood on HBO & Sky showed how coarse language can be used to dramatic effect. This RTÉ thing is just another attempt to be derivative. RTÉ: the imitator, never the innovator.

Wait until 2021 for the Double-Inn set version of “De Bleedin’ Bodygaaard.”

Joe Schmidt retiringas rugby manager is now the main headline on the 6 O'Clock news. Not a sports headline - THE MAIN HEADLINE. Now I know rugby is big in D4. But is it really that big everywhere else?

And because it was Monday Paschal was down in Killarney covering a routine citizenship ceremony from the INEC.

A dolphin appears in the Liffey yesterday and it is headline news.
It is pathetic, it really is.
RTE consider themselves a parochial Dumplin media organisation.

Radio Telifis Atha Chliath
Dublin based reporters promoting Dublin and every little trivial event that happens there with HD cameras and soft focus shots.

I happened to see a documentary some night last week on one of the RTE channels.

Wetting themselves as usual about the housing crisis.

So there is a report about some Mum and Son from Glanmire who are now renting a summer house at some coastal area in East Cork

So they put up on the screen some correspondence that the family got from Cork County Council.

Their fuck up was up on top of the screen they had Cork City Council and their logo.

Great research that, fucking Jackeens

Speaks volumes about their complete lack of knowledge of most things outside the pale.

Are BBC as bad with a London bias, I wonder?
