Was absolutely atrocious and we were lucky enough Randolph kept out their header at start of the second half because if they’d scored there, it would have been hard to see us scoring two.

I’m not sure 4-4-2 is the way forward. Need to find a way to get Coleman and Doherty into the same side and I think Coleman could operate on the right side of a back 3 with Doherty ahead in a RWB role.

Stevens doesn’t convince me on the other side so maybe Brady or McClean would be good in a LWB role.

Ahead of that then I’m not so sure what we can do. At least McCarthy is honest when he sees it was brutal shit to watch!

Denmark and the Swiss will go there and get a cricket score.

Georgia could well beat us next week.

Terrific. What could go wrong.

Meanwhile we're making hard work of a place that has about the same population as Douglas.
His age is irrelevant if he can do the job. 3 points in the bag. Can’t ask for more than that tonight. Next Tuesday will tell more of where they stand.

So you're fine with Mickie Mac, a nothing manager tbh, but you're here every telling Klopp how to do his job.

Gotcha.

I dont care if there was a hurricane blowing there tonight.

That performance was nowhere near the required standard.

It was an awful performance but it’s his first game back and he still won. At least let him play the Georgia game before you start looking for his head.

Taking Doherty off whom might make the EPL Team of the year and bringing Arter on for Maguire to try hold onto a 1-0 lead against one of the worst teams ever to play the game.
That was absolutely pathetic and if that was Trap or MON people would be outraged but Mick is a darling.
Georgia will beat us at home. Big Mick might not even last the campaign and hope to fuck him and Delaney will be gone this year.

I think we will win on Tuesday. Not condoning that sort of performance but there was fuck all for Ireland to gain there tonight on a plastic pitch in a gale. A win is a win and I expect us to rise our performance at home on Tuesday against a better side. McCarthy was honest in his summary of things and hopefully we will see a reaction Tuesday.

Bear in mind that I wasn’t in favour of him getting the job in the first place so I’m not here to protect him but I liked his honesty after and hope to see much better Tuesday in more accommodating conditions. We got outplayed by Georgia under MON but I can see us beating them 2-0 on Tuesday. We aren’t great and won’t outplay many teams but we won’t lack team spirit or fight under Mick.
