I honestly think that's the way forward for France, not necessarily ROG but an external person to lash through them. I'm surprised they went for Brunel to see them through the WC but I guess they thought that was their best bet to avoid a "shock exit" before the QF.

Their pool will be great craic though, them, England, and Argentina.
Ledesma seems to have got the Argies back on track again.

The Argies are always on track for the world cup year.

Isn't there rumours that Laporte is back calling the shots there and Brunel has been sidelined. I assume ROG would only be getting a backs coaching role and no major input. Could be a step backwards getting in to that shit storm.

Well I think Laporte is always a nefarious character within French rugby, languishing in the shadows.

ROG would be well advised to stay away from it.

Also, I'd query the amount of media work he's doing and how appropriate it is for a full time coach, and one presumably looming to work on Irish right some time again.

Agreed Juk.
We were shown up badly in two 6N games this year. England and Wales are farther on than we are at the moment. We want to avoid NZ in the q.f. but S.A. will probably have a better side than the last W.C.
Semi spot looking doubtful atm I'm afraid.
