But Cork City Council staff have their own free car park. Instant industrial action if it was taken off them.

Hypocrites.

€20m for 70 odd acres in Ballincollig close to sale agreed. Presume it’s O Flynn’s or Murnane & O Sheas. Could be between 500-1000 houses going in there. My guess is O Flynn’s.

Drove down by the new development in Glanmire yesterday, that is going to be absolute traffic chaos once it's sold off.

Work started on 80 apartments on Lancaster Quay (OCP), consultation started on 121 apartments in Ballincollig (O'Flynn), O'Riordans Joinery gone back to add more beds again, 550 now, to their student planning.

Jacobs Island Tower site and planning still actively being flogged to all buyers with the intention for B2R and the recently approved railway Gardens by the South Link will be the same according to the Examiner: https://www.irishexaminer.com/breaki...ng-968507.html
Reading between the lines it seems they are confident of a sale at some stage next year, which could mean possible construction on both starting sometime in 2021, all going well.

Yeah.

The delay in the Dunkettle interchange will fuck up the whole area.

Glanmire/Riverstown is already a disaster at rush hour. I can only imagine what this will do. Anyone that buys in there is off their nut.

Fantastic news. Think that land is down by the motorway behind ballincollig. Bring on more traffic congestion and zero proper public transport links. Murnane Oshea are building nearby in the developing heathfield estate. Houses prices start at 325k for a 3 bed. Oh and there’s some very wet ground down there but that wouldn’t stop a developer!!
