The proposal is in place by a group that own the land in Carrigtohill, they are not proposing to build this in the city centre.
The usual lunatic fringe opposed to everything.
In comparison with Kildare Village it is very close to the city, 59km v 18km, so my point is that it would take a lot more from Cork city centre than Kildare Village does from Dublin city centre.

Just another Mammon Point type thing, as if there's not enough traffic congestion in the area already what with the industrial estate traffic and Harvey Norman. Fire this in and create another bottleneck, why not sure?

Tourist Outlet Village, how is it supposed to appeal to tourists? How are tourists supposed to get to it without a car?
