I've got the full keyboard on my 'phone' also, it's small enough, but workable, and at greater speed than a num pad. I do, from time to time, use ssh and using a numpad on the CLI is a pain in the ass.

just got word from them that the stock will be arriving tomorrow and they have enough to cover the back order

The Apple exclusivity bargaining chip is up, now that it's unlockable, I heavily doubt that the operators will be willing to pay Apple like they did with AT&T:

But hey, it's got a funky GUI. That's how OSes are judged these days.
well what would you recommend?

I agree with i_didnt_do_nawtin.

I seen a keynote that Steve Jobs gave as the iPhone was being released and he said outright, that all the features that are on the iPhone are nothing new and are available on nearly all super phones.
He said most mobile phones will already allow you to make a three person conference call but he said that the software is so complicated that normal folks don't know how to do this.
He specifically said that Nokia didnt invest in software and GUI's in partilcular as they should have.

I cant wait to see the super trendy ads for the iphone.

The Ad for the Nokia N Series wasnt half as effective.
Basically just some dude speaking in a monotone stephen hawking-like voice:

"Ive got something in my pocket, its not just one thing"

Yea that really shows off what it can do!
