Smoked like a trooper. Off them now.

Tried everything, but at the end of the day you just have to really really want to do it. If you dont then all the patches and drugs in the world wont help.

I found champix good to deal with the initial cravings.

20 a day. Was off them for 9 months and then slipped when on the beer.

My dentist recommended champix but my sister is a nurse and she said stay away..to many side effects.

Did you notice any matlock?

Freaky dreams and very bad nausea if i hadnt eaten enough before taking them. Nothing apart from that.

The not wanting to is a big problem. I've tried so many times, but deep down didn't want it enough.

I really want to stop this time, so i'm really going to try.

Is smoking the sign of a weak character?

Influenced by peers, dependent on the positive feeling gained from smoking, unable to give up...

When i started it wasn't anywhere near the taboo it is now, i was 15, lived in a pub so smoking was everywhere, although my parents didn't know then.

Once you're hooked, its an addiction like any other. Supposedly nicotene is more addictive than heroin.

Ya the times have changed a lot in fairness. I've never been addicted to nicotene but it's obviously it's very tough to overcome.
