Not exactly filling me full of confidence but he's a right back I guess. Same agent as Nir Biton apparently.

"Celtic have 'agreed a fee' for Hapoel Be'er Sheva right back Hatem Abd Elhamed.

The Israeli looks set to make the move to Glasgow as Neil Lennon tries to solve his right back problem.

Kristoffer Ajer has been starting at full back for Celtic in their opening two Champions League qualifiers with Anthony Ralston left on the bench.

Celtic don't have any other right backs with Mikael Lustig, Cristian Gamboa and Jeremy Toljan all departing at the end of last season.

But now they have agreed a fee, believed to be worth €2million, according to Israeli newspapers.

SportsWalla report that the initial fee will then rise by €300,000 should Celtic reach the group stage of the Champions League.

Elhamed has previously played abroad twice before when he had a loan spell at Dinamo Bucharest and then a failed move to Belgium where he played just once for Gent."

Uninspiring..... And unsurprising that we sign yet another Duhu Dahan player.

The limit of the scouting appears to be to pick up the phone and ask Dahan if he has any full backs.

With Danny Simpson to come in on trial we'll have the choice between a 28 year old never was and a 32 year old woman beating scumbag.

Thankfully the 32 year old scumbag was told not to bother.

We're still light at right back but the Israeli is surely only being bought as cover across the back rather than front line right back.

Starting to get worried that the 7M record defensive signing hasn't played competitively yet. The league starts in a few days and he could surely have gotten a run when we were coasting 3-0 at half time last week. Is he carrying an injury or wha?

Lenny saying he's resting McGregor (who played more competitive football than anyone else in the world last season) and Forrest, neither of whom have travelled for tonight's game (6PM KICKOFF!!!). Looks like Juliene is going to start as well - about time.

Flag being raised by Billy McNeil's and Stevie Chalmer's widows on Saturday. Hopefully Harry Hood (RIP) will get a mention too.

Workmanlike performance last night.

Julien played the full 90 mins and was meh, but it's early days.
Shved came on late and scored a beauty from the edge of the box on the 90th minute.
Young Morgan did very well on the right in the first half, faded a bit, and improved again when played more centrally later on.
Bollingoli lasted a full 90 mins with a lot of running and energy. Needs to work on his defence a bit.
Nir Bitton did very well for an hour before being subbed - probably start on Saturday.
My motm was Mikey Johnson who tormented their defence for about an hour until he was subbed.
