Default Cork minor football 2019

Up against Kerry in Pairc Ui Rinn next Tuesday pm.

Anyone know what the squad is now and who are the potential stars?
Seems to be no news of current panel on Rebel Og website.
Came so close to beating eventual AI champions down in Tralee last year. Surely in with a shout this year - really need to start seeing work being done with development squads starting to pay off.
No Munster title since 2010, no AI since 2000.

Hard to believe 2000 was the last Title. Noel of Leary was the only one of that to win a All Ireland in 2010.

Only starter yes

Brian O'Regan and Kevin McMahon were on the panel

Real shame from that team was Conrad Murphy being crocked with injuries

This years minors won the u16 Munster last year beating Kerry so they are obviously a good side. However, I think last years minors were the same and we know how that turned out.

I think Conor Corbett would be the big star. He was brilliant last year in Tralee too.

last year's u16 win is not a true reflection of where both teams stand this year as last year's Kerry minor panel had 6 u16 players who did not play in that u16 tourament. Cork were at full strength. Hopefully Corbett & co can deliver on Tuesday night on home soil.

Have heard conflicting reports about the football development squads recently - some say they're well run and players benefitting hugely from being involved. Others tell me that it's a poor enough set up, with some good coaches but a lot of very average ones and no real structure or strategy to it.

Performance in Tralee last year would suggest there is hope but recent record is woeful.
No Munster title since 2010 or AI since 2000 is very poor. Kerry may be a one sport county but considering the number of clubs and players in Cork , we should be winning a fair share of minor titles.
Won five Munsters in 1980s, four in 1990s and 2000s.
