Default Paddy Jackson - still looking for a new team

Following up on the story that Jackson had agreed a 200K per year deal with Sale Sharks and that Olding was in the process of agreeing a deal, and the fact that Jackson had been at a training session during the week, it seems after pressure from a local MP and some lobbyists, and with some sponsors getting involved as well, Sale have come out and said that it was all just speculation and Jackson won't be joining them after all.

Sale were aiming high there with the lads and Israel Folau.

Deccie will give them a second chance at London Irish yet. Playing in the second division, away from the limelight.
Either that or a D2 Team in France, Brive or similar.

Yeah, I'd say France will be their destination.

She lost the battle and failed to prove them guilty

However she won the war. They are ruined financially, personally despised by the majority of people, ran out of the country and cant even get a club

Totally devo for them, m8.

I'm sure we'll see them living rough on the streets of Belfast very soon.

Technically they weren't found guilty of criminality so I think they'd still probably be OK to travel to the US. But sponsorship is a huge deal in professional sports. Bums on seats doesn't cover the full cost of wages and sponsors are likely not to want to be associated with Jackson and/or Olding given the carry on. "We're a company with family values etc etc". Sponsors want to appeal in a good light to potential customers. Don't think they'll want to be associated with those two
