Anyway, it's very possible that A.Ts."victims" subjected her to some nasty verbal abuse which provoked the attacks. It's commonly known that the girl's had her problems and let's face it, Cork women are known for being very "passremarkable" .
I'm in no way condoning what she did but maybe there are mitigating circumstances. I don't think that AT decided to attack just off the top of her head tbphwy.
That's exactly what she did against a player from the Glen on the pitch. Pulled across her head off the ball. Don't take my word for it, ask anybody involved with the Glen camogie team. It's clear shes just a violent thug sober so I shudder to think what she is like after drink.

I didn't think she drank, by the way would you consider Harnedy a violent thug for his knee drop on the face of a Waterford player last year in the league? Just trying to gauge your standards for who is or not a violent thug on the field.

Doesn’t drink?? That’s the whole problem, shouldn’t but does. Anyone on medication for mental health issues know the one thing that doesn’t help it is alcohol

I’ve said it before here too the staff in a certain establishment let her away with too much over a few years so she felt untouchable, eventually it ended badly all round.
She’s a grown woman but they’ve a responsibility too to call out inappropriate behaviour and nip it early

Her club are more to blame. Treated like a princess and no one with the balls to call out her behaviour. If they nipped it in the bud on the pitch years ago it wouldn’t have seeped off the pitch as she got older. There is far too much sucking up done to Inter-County players by their clubs. No wonder some think they’re untouchable. Mind you some are great ambassadors too.

She said herself her own mother would be on the sideline roaring at her even at underage level referees often had to stop games and get the mother to calm down. Asking and her mother often had screaming rows during games

Her mother should have been told cop on. Others would be. It’s not that long ago.

So camogie=hurling in your mind.
And violent assault on a women by a women= violent assault by a man on a man.
Just trying to gauge your standards.
Do you think it's all part of the game for a young girl to be left with a badly bruised and swelled face and after narrowly escaping losing an eye after an unprovoked assault(ask in your club if you don't believe me) when going out to play a game of camogie for her club?

The question was very easy, yes or no will do. Do you consider Harnedy a violent thug for the incident I described ?

It was a thuggish act but he doesn't have a history of such behaviour so I'd be slow to brand him a violent thug on one incident. Thompson does, shes up on two charges of assault and in a game that has much less physicality she is as or more violent then anything the Male game has. For all your guff about violence between women being commonplace it's not in my experience but then again everyone I know have never associated and socialised with scumbags. Thompson by her behaviour is obviously a scumbag so maybe it's more common in her social circles.
Your turn to answer.
