People leave jobs to "spend time with their kids" all the time, only to surface in a new job a few weeks or months later.

Even if she was part of the deal, what difference to that make to his talents as a broadcaster?

Perhaps she did leave to spend more time at home then a few months later, a part time job 2 miles from home came up. Why wouldn't/shouldn't she take it. Anyway, the point is moot, she has nothing to do with Ray being an awful interviewer.

Apparantly there are Nine people working on the ray darcy show on radio one.

hes not like a regular reporter or presenter. Just listening to him , you would think that he has had some technical or engineering training
Because of the wide array of clients of the mother's PR company (catholic church, politicians etc), I am wary he would be a soft touch interviewer.

Has D'Arcy learned how to press the right buttons yet?

Darcy was just about good enough to deal with three sock puppets on kids TV.

Listened to him a few times on today FM, that slot was too hip for him, he is now in a station that has his ideal demographic as listeners.

Radio Rohypnol.

Why is he always portrayed as the voice of 'de young people'.
He's in his 50's ffs!
Being immature doesn't qualify you to speak for young people!
