Russell Rovers got the biggest shafting of all here, they won the 4 grade to be promoted to the "5th grade", the 2020 winners of the 6th grade will be promoted to the 4th grade.

Certain level of sympathy for them but they’ve 2 years to win it now to remain intermediate. Can’t complain too much as for years we’re all saying a lot teams need to go back junior

To me Russell Rovers St.Catherine’s and Tracton are the best there. Kilbrittain slightly behind

The rest are junior standard and some could even struggle at that level to make an impact at divisional level
I think the junior could be restructured too by time they’re relegated back

Ain’t too many games their to set the pulses

A lot of poor teams,

Kilbrittain have a poor side enough, lost to Ballinhassig second team in relegation. Newcestown caught them badly then aswell in u21 hurling final with Jamie in charge aswell.

They’ll fancy their chances of winning in within the two years no doubt.

Would be very surprised if one of Russell Rovers St.Catherine’s and Tracton don't win it. Ballygarvan maybe at a push. This division shouldbe cutthroat next year. One error on the field could see your side junior.

How much of a window do teams have to decide to regrade to Junior A for 2020?
i.e. if Castlemartyr or St. Catherines regraded for 2020 they would probably rattle the Junior county and then leapfrog the dummy grade into Intermediate A for 2021. Saving themselves 2 years of messing about in the process.
Obviously there is no guarantee of success but you'd imagine the odds are greater to win a lower grade than the grade you are in...

Teams have already opted in a this stage.

I understand your thinking but to me it wouldn’t be an ambitious way for any club to be thinking. If you’re good enough you’ll be there, simple as that
