I think last years championship panel, plus the return of the injured lads, Sheehan and promotion of some U20s is the best way to push on. There seemed to be a good spirit about the camp for the first time in years, so you don't big change.

There are also Munster Council scholarships so any Cork men on the board there should be putting him on top of their lists of scholarship candidates next year.

Also, I heard that Ronan McCarthy is going to stick to the panel he has plus bringing in a few of the Under 20s, hence the likes of Dan O Duinnín, Brian O' Driscoll and Peter Kelleher not being asked back to the panel.
You are right , what we want is players that have 100% commitment to Cork football its just a pity the afore mentioned players have the talent to be part of it but I guess that's not going to happen this year anyway.

update on Kieran O'Connor

Quote:
To all #FriendsofKieran , we are delighted to share this update....

After 5 months of intensive treatment, Kieran had results of a full scan today.
While the cancer is still there, the results were positive in that it has regressed in some places & overall the doctors are pleased the treatment that he has been on for last while is doing its job.
He will be starting chemo again next week but they are happy that this treatment is working for him at this time.... Long road ahead but all the small battles count

Thank you sincerely for all for your kind messages, prayers & support for Kieran over the past few months, it has been absolutely incredible.
#friendsofkieran

If all three stay injury free Seanie Powter, Brian Hurley and Ciaran Sheehan Cork could have a very good season ahead ...please god this might happen.
