friend of mine went to Cuba a few weeks ago (same friend who came to PROC pissup) and she says that if it wasnt for Castro and Che and the revolution and the fact Castro is still in charge there now, Cuba wouldnt be the kind of place it is now. Relatively peaceful (tho mad laws) and hradly any drug tourism and related crime. I would hate to see Cuba go to waste like many other islands and countries in the area when Castro dies (assuming his brother Raul wont take over).

Che is everyone's favourite facial-hair-motorbike-stood-for-some-stuff-but-I-don't-know-what-it-was-and-don't-really-give-one-check-out-the-beard-man revolutionary. Ace. The sort of revolutionary you can safely put on T-shirts, clocks and candles. Che's real name was Ernest which is perhaps not so cool, but who cares when you factor in the whole motorbike thing?

Or maybe The Kids really are into vague, trigger-happy-yet-hippyish-developing-world-guerilla-vanguard-revolutionism-tinged-with-Stalinism? Either way, a whole raft of new companies are trying to float similar products, including a chain of North Korean restaurants full of images of Kim Il-Sung (provisionally called Yo! Rice), and a range of sportswear called simply Gulag.

from is it just me or is everything shit?
Ha ha ha just finished that book.

Flew through it. Hilarious book with some valid points.

I liked his one on Gadget Bores and their spazz-tops and the whole GPRS thing.

All the guys here have these gadgets allowing them to plot where they have been on a Google Map. I just dont get why you need to see on a Google Map how you got to work.
