It's a wonder they didn't kill the man, there have been at least 42 reported incidents of harassment reported to the Gardai and no arrests made, maybe now they'll wake up and do something about this ongoing campaign of intimidation.

They beat him to within an inch of it apparently.. for going to work and doing his job. Hard men, a gang of them armed with baseball bats against himself. Awful stuff

He didn’t prop up anything - he took a massive gamble on CFDs and lost

I was hoping that this thread was about the late, great Pat Quinn senior.

Alas no. But if anyone wants to discuss Pat Quinn and his revolutionary effect on the Irish retail market, I'm your man.

A good few cars of management have been burn't out outside their homes, I think one guys young daughter was lucky to escape unhurt from one of the incidents.

I'm sure it is only a mere coincidence that the local Sinn Fein members have rallied around him.

This thing has me thinking for a while now.
Why would a bunch of thugs be so keen to "defend" Quinn? Coz he provided local jobs, don't think do.
Where did the Quinns' money come from originally? Was it invested by our freedom-fighting heroes? Was the whole thing a front?
It's not as if the Quinn clan have demonstrated that they are squeaky clean upholders of the laws and norms of the state.

He had a great head, if it was now he could have gotten a grant to install solar panels on it.
