So it was real?

We were talking about this at the weekend and were wondering if it was a myth.

100% true. Multi channel went to the cops with the list but the dpp or whoever makes the decisions wouldn't prosecute as they said it was entrapment.

It was a bit more than that, the multichannel did not take into account word of mouth, where people with legit boxes were told by others about the t shirts, and also went to claim them, creating a rather large shit pile for the brains that came up with the idea.

If you remember to claim them you had to ring a phone number and leave your details on an answering machine. They did narrow the list handed over to an early time period - I don't know what it was but say 1st week and then compared it to their own customer listing. Guards would have had to investigate each case as well which I think was another reason it didn't push on

Lol. De multi channel in the 90s.

Sandra Murphy got her life together and now runs events.

Julian Benson runs a casting agency in dublin and takes 10 to 15 % of each actors pay.

Paul Byrne is now a TV 3 reporter and has lost weight.

Trevor Welch is a radio presenter and needs to reduce is blood pressure

Neil Prenderville is a radio presenter who came close to tossing it all away.

Roscha Murphys whereabouts are unknown

Legit boxes showed that offer as well

For a split second, before going scrambled. So by recording it on a VCR and then freezing the picture you could see the phone number to ring.

So it was possible to see the offer if you had a legit box.
