Yes that's pretty much it. Tbf Microsoft have been doing the same thing for years now. With Sony you get free games as well every month so I've had my £39 moneys worth several times over already

You can use an xbox controller for most games these days, for the one it makes sense to!

A lot of the pc games that are also on console are just console ports. So they play the same.

Wonder will the xbox one interface/menus etc be better than the tripe served up on the 360 which are very childish compared to the smooth cool efforts of the ps3.

They mirror the Windows 8 set-up on the current range of Windows tablets and laptops.

They came down a fair bit with the announcement of the consoles even so they probably will but I reckon it'll be gradual.

If you go to Amazon, you can a PS3 and a new game (Last of Us is one of the ones listed) for less than £200, same for an XBox 360.

Xtravision has reversed its policy on pre-ordered Xbox One consoles and said it regretted any “upset or inconvenience” it may have caused.
Following the launch of the Microsoft device last week, customers who had made pre-orders with the retailer were told they would have to buy an additional game in order to collect the console.
Xtravision had offered full refunds for any customers unwilling to make that extra purchase, though low supplies of the Xbox One in Ireland would make it difficult them to purchase the console elsewhere in the weeks ahead.
However the retailer has now changed its policy, saying that any person collecting their pre-ordered console will now not have to purchase an additional game.
Any customer who has already bought a game in order to collect their console will also be offered a refund if they return it unopened and with proof of purchase.
Xtravision confirmed that customers who pre-ordered Sony’s Playstation 4 will not be required to make any additional purchase in order to receive their device.
Xtravision, which entered receivership in April, was bought by Hilco Capital Ireland in June.
Hilco also owns the HMV chain in Ireland and Britain.

Xtravision can now go and fuck themselves, I'll never set foot in one again.
