I'm not going to judge those premiership players but if you can find a more inspirational role model than Aisling Thompson anywhere then fair play to ya, and those judging her on her tatoos should take the time to find out why she has them

It's all very well having a laugh or a go at some dumb ass millionaire Premier shit lad but I don't think the same rules should apply to local amateur sportspersons. What do we think PRoC? These are people who could easily have friends or family on here or might even visit themselves (!!) Cut em a bit of slack, no?

I don't buy this. First of all I'm sure I can find at least one post where you make a comment that could be considered having a go at someone. And I'm sure anyone could do the same about my posts. And that's fine. This is a satirical site. We all take the piss here.
Secondly, if you think it's unfair that an amateur player should be spared what being at the end of the day is clearly a joke (in a satirical forum) then why is it acceptable to simply label a Premier League player as being a dumb ass millionaire? Sure there have been several Cork lads plying their trade in the Premier League over the last few years. Aren't they also people who may have friends or family on here, or might even visit themselves? Why shouldn't they be cut some slack? Just because you earn lots of money it doesn't mean you automatically become immune to online posts in a way that an amateur may be.
But what would make any fair minded person, pro or amateur, somewhat immune to posts here is the knowledge that this place isn't serious. As we all know, it's just banter.

If you want to a lesson in INTERNETTING then the following post is a better approach.

She must be the best role model in GAA at the moment.

She was prepared to go public with her battles against depression to help others.

I can imagine the impact her success must be having on young people that are battling against depression. She's led her county to AI success showing that depression can be overcome and anything is possible.

You should probably see a doctor, unless you mean actual porridge.

the gaa should enlist her to be an ambassador to help and advise young people
re depression, people may pigeon hole her because of tattoos but she comes across as very articulate, anna geary is making hay on her reputation/looks
and well done to her, aisling Thompson should do very same,
