Marian Finucane has more gravel in her voice than D'arcical or Tubbs.

So Tubbs and Darsey are on 1 mill between them? Incredible
Good point! How much ad revenue does the LLS and Darcy's drivel generate in a year? Pay them €50K basic max a year and give them 1% of the ad revenue. They won't be paid better anywhere else in Ireland not on TG4 or TV3.

Hard working???.....at RTE??

The salaries paid to presenters make the headlines but the whole organisation is overstaffed and overpaid. Mindset there is the taxpayer gives us the money and we divvy it out amongst ourselves.
The whole thing should be dismantled and new fit for purpose broadcaster set up, to operate within confines of money available.
Radio 2 should go for starters - this market is now well served by regional and independent sector without taxpayer bankrolling an unnecessary loss making operation.

half the salaries of the top 20 earners and you would save at least 2 million. They wont complain much as the know they wont get the same salaries anywhere else in Ireland.
