Watched The Irishman yesterday and could not figure out what all the hype was about tbph. The acting was the same as in characters that are normally played by the big three actors, they seem to be one dimensional in their roles.Never going to be a Goodfellas or a Godfather blockbuster anyways....5/10

On a side note does anyone else think that Netflix is gone to shite?
There's some woeful rubbish on there at the minute. I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel at the moment to find something worth watching. It's only saving grace is some of the foreign offerings eg., Gomorrah, Suburra and a couple of the Scandinavian series. Seriously thinking of cancelling my subscription

Yeah its awful shit.

This year I watched Mindhunter , Bojack & The Crown.

The King was good but it's mostly garbage.

Sure it’s only feeding you shit by the algorithm. I suppose there’s no real way around it bar trying to mix it up as much as possible on the viewing. I dumped it a long time ago.

'A Marriage Story'

6 out of 10

Does what it says on the tin

Some really good acting, very well written, a nice cameo from Ray Liotta as a divorce attorney. Scarlet Johansen is superb and looks very different, not a very flattering look for her which makes her character so much more believable. Very well directed and a nice offbeat pace to it. If you are into realism and stories about real-life relationships then it's perfect.

Well, I'm grand, still in Wikla. Got down to Youghal about two years ago for a break. Other than that, the usual midlife crisis stuff lol.
