Default Windows 10.

What do we think, lads?

If something costs nothing it is usually worth nothing.

Windows 8 is the biggest joke of all time. Nearly as bad as Vista.

Remember Vista? Jesus Christ.

Is anyone going to install windows 10?

The last good version of Windows was XP.

Windows 7 is acceptable, barely.

Does anyone even care about Microsoft anymore?

Every second version tends to be good.

XP good
Vista shite
7 good
8 shite.

This one SHOULD be good.

I've used a lot of OS and I still prefer windows to the others. MACs look nice and shiny but I'm not a fan.

Holograms, is it?

Holograms me bollix, Bill.

Don't fancy the MAC file storage scene either - i.e, it decides, not you.

Microshit must be badly rattled by history to say they abandoned Windows 9 completely.

You know the score, Fishy.

If you're not paying for something - you're the product.

I actually don't mind Windows 8.1. I have OSX and Linux on VMs.

As for Windows 10, it'll be free for a year but then rumoured to be an annual subscription type thingy

No - you get 10 free for life if you upgrade in the first year.

I'm running it since the initial CTP, really like it. Not much in it for 7 users but it's a breath of fresh fucking air after 8.

Hey lads, slightly off topic but I need help with this. I have a laptop running Windows 7 (64), last week the OS failed and I did a reboot from the recovery disk. After the re-install the OS is running perfectly, better in fact, the only issue is Windows has reverted to a 32 bit OS. Any thoughts/remedies/ideas.

Thanks,

Adam.

Download the Windows7 ISO, burn it to DVD and that'll probably have a 'Repair' option.

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...-download-tool

It's all legit
