Your Mental Health

Good old Zanny the Nanny. D beours love the xanax due to "being a stressed single mam just trying to mind my babys"
I was on xanax for panic attacks years ago. Worked very well, in fact it made me feel very nice. So I started taking them daily. Anyway, I realised what was happening and stopped taking them.

A few years later I got one from a friend for a reason I can't remember. Christ almighty, it was like I'd smoked about 20 joints one after another. My doctor must have been giving me a sugar pill.

They can be useful for emergency use, I know that GPs are still handing them out, I read online that you shouldn't take them for more than 3 days in a row, the problem is that they can work quickly and therefore are to be used with the utmost caution, and as JT said, they are very dangerous when mixed with alcohol.

I found them useful during the lockdown and when I was adjudicating IOTY they were very useful indeed. (y)

I had benzos prescribed for PRN usage but not on them anymore they really should only be used for a severe bout of anxiety.

Got lucky with other meds working well along with some lifestyle tweaks.
