Bill Burr is taking some kicking over on his own YouTube channel after playing the Riyadh comedy festival.

It's an absolutely bizarre move from Burr. He's always flirted with the line - especially in the last ten years, as you said - between what he says and what he does. He talks shit about rich people then spouts on incessantly about a helicopter that he's bought.

But, on the other side of the coin, only two months ago he gave a thoughtful, angry and honest interview on the "Good One" podcast about Rogan and his acolytes, political influencers, the racism himself/his wife have to deal with daily and the state of America/the harm that both sides of the US government are doing to his country.

And then he takes a bag filled with (if reports are to be believed) nearly $2 million dollars of blood money per show from Saudi Arabia.

Went to Dylan Moran at the weekend.

Christ, it was poor - I mean, OK, he's a pro and he had a couple of great moments but not enough to say it was good value for the €100 I dropped on two tickets (plus drinks/dinner beforehand and parking).

But... they were few and far between - he was fucking langersed. I don't think he even managed 45 minutes (for reference - the warm up act did 25 minutes), a lot of which was taken up with him noodling at a keyboard and then he just fucked off - quick wave and out the gap!

He shouldn't be on tour in his condition, he needs a break and some help. He's away from the wife and all that, I understand, but putting him onstage in that shape is akin to an atrocity exhibition.

A friend of mine saw his work in progress show for this tour at The Seachurch and said it was absolutely terrible, a lad I work with saw him on the same warm-up tour in Galway and said it was two hours of pure genius.

This is the problem - I've seen him about 10 times over the years and he's either on top form or about to walk the room.

Much like Tommy Tiernan.

As usual - no advertising for either of them.
