Funny, I personally know 7 people in 2021 2022 who died unexpectedly who were under 50, not to mention those over 50. I personally knew them well through work, school and GAA. I know of no one the last 2 years.

Sorry to hear that Bunk. A few friends of mine lost a parent during the pandemic too.

While losing a parent is tough at any time, during the pandemic was a lot harder from what they've told me. We're very good at supporting one another in those times, but we just couldn't do it as well then.

We lost my dad in 2019, and however horrible that was, the added layer of stress COVID added was intolerable at times.

Horrible circumstances making a horrible situation immeasurably worse.

I mean, that there is basically all I really know about vaccines. A little bit of the disease to prime the immune system. And it wiped out a deadly awful disease like smallpox. And thats all I need to know really.

Vaccines also as good as wiped out other potentially deadly diseases like measles, mumps and rubella. But now John and Karen read something on snapper chat and they know better than people who spent their lives studying this and advancing humanity by doing so.

The hubris to think you'd know better than these experts is staggering.
