Watched the series recently. I hope they do well. Fair dues to Ryan and Rob coming in and actually investing their money.
That guy running the pub (The Turf?) strikes me as a real mé-féiner though. Very willing, almost with a sense of entitlement, to make a profit off being so close to the ground but just got the impression from the show (right or wrong) that he wasn't putting any of his money into the club other than buying a season ticket, and afaik he wasn't even a member of the supporters group that saved the club in the first place.
In fairness he is just a youngish guy trying to run a business, probably renting the premises. The owners come across very well in the series. Does anyone know what the town of Wrexham is like. Spanish friends of mine want to visit next summer-I was trying to put them off, knowing what other similar towns in the Uk are like. Big home match v Sheff Weds on Sat. anything less than a win could be a sign of an impending relegation battle. Also signed Callum Doyle from City defender with underage caps for England.Watched the series recently. I hope they do well. Fair dues to Ryan and Rob coming in and actually investing their money.

Well if you are simple enough to put on a bavie and post it on Insta, expect reaper cushions when you are on bended knee, cap in hand excepting the King's coin. After a disappointing home draw v Sheff Weds where they lost a 2-0 lead, today Wrexham went to Millwall, not an easy ground to visit and the locals had some IRA stuff for McClean but he replied with a great assist for O'Brien to score the clinching goal in a 2-0 win. So 4 pts after 4 matches should be the basis for a midtable type season. I think Weds and Oxford look poor enough but there are no other obvious candidates for relegation.
