Many are saying Beau Greeves should have been invited over Bunting. Would have garnered even more exposure for darts if it had happened.

He was bottom of the PL last year. He might get booed after his people's champ comments. Beau has the game to be able to compete with the men and with more experience at the highest level, who knows how far she can go. She actually beat Littler last year in the PDC world youth semi final. Beau had a 105 average and Littler had a 107 average! That gives an idea of her potential.Bunting is haunted to be there.
Surely Searle should have got in before him?
Although I suppose Sky want the "People's Champion" stuff
It’s a money making racket really. What professional sport isn’t but this is all hype.I love Darts. I watch it all year round, from minor tournaments to majors.
The one thing I dont care about and watch sporadically is the PL. To my mind it's nothing more than a glorified exhibition.
And it gets very boring after a few weeks of watching the same lads week in week out. I think the players get fed up with all the travelling after a few weeks too and the standard slips.
I've heard humphries saying the travelling is a killer but I guess its a double edged sword if they dont promote the game via league etc then the sponsors will be less interested and the money they earn will decrease .I love Darts. I watch it all year round, from minor tournaments to majors.

Agreed. The format is boring now. Big crowds, free flow of beer, take it all around Europe and big money. The true darts fan, I've been watching darts since the 80s, have very little interest in it.I love Darts. I watch it all year round, from minor tournaments to majors.

Aye, give me a euro tour event at the weekend where you can see young lads like Wessel Nijman and Niko Springer coming through over the PL every single time.Agreed. The format is boring now. Ever watched the old News of the World? Huge crowds, very loud audiences but in a good way. Best of 3 legs, box office. Afair, Phil Taylor won the last one after the split and beat Martin Adams in a total grydge match, just about though. Replicating that would be brilliant.Aye, give me a euro tour event at the weekend where you can see young lads like Wessel Nijman and Niko Springer coming through over the PL every single time.
The Masters last year was a belter too when they switched the format back to best of 3 leg sets the BDO used back in the day.
