Ireland rugby has become robotic for the last long while. Any bit of flair is coached out of them.
I understand it a little for the women's game as they were at a low point and just need a structure to build from. The 10 is pretty poor though, saw her play against Scotland in the 6 Nations and she all but lost it for them. She's struggling to play with the speed needed and it's killing the relatively decent players outside her.
Ireland defending narrow against one of the quickest set of wingers was certainly an interesting choice too.
Very poor game from Davidson as ref which doesn't happen often. In one 3 minute spell she ran in to a ruck and slapped NZ hands away and then called a deliberate knock on as knock on only on the NZ 5m line and Ireland were forced back outside the 22 and she called advantage over.
