I remember listening to an interview with Mark Tighe just after the courts found that the John Delaney's finances were in the public interest.
He was fairly emotional because Delaney sued both the Sunday Times and Him personally. It was seen as a dirty move. Tighe was a freelancer and award made against him would have basically meant the family home being sold to service the debt.
It was a deliberate move from Delaney. The Shinners have done similar to Ruth Dudley Edwards.
Reach; The mirror, The Star, Beo had no problem naming Kitty Holland.
RTE, The Examiner and The Irish Times all ommitted her name from their 600 odd words reports on the settlement. Pretty sad state of affairs that the supposed respectable outlets closed ranks with their NUJ colleague. Its had the opposite impact anyway, with almost every tweeted article questioning why they didn't mention her. She was the second trending topic on Irish Twitter yday, only behind the dead footballer. People could see what they were doing.
There was no ambiguity in what she said

She's lucky Casey isn't malicious and didn't also pursue a case against her personally . (Like she did with John Waters). I think she's a horrible Cee u next Tuesday and defaming a grieving young man is the level she operates at.
