Woman murdered in Tullamore..

Absolutely, one of mine said his teacher went out about it for a hour and 20 minutes yesterday in the class. Don't know what happened today because I took them to be jabbed this morning.
I dont get it.. my little one has only just turned 8. She has never even considered the concept of murder, or that it might actually happen somebody. First questions after she came in the door is why a person would murder another person. What happened the teacher, how did he murder her. Can it happen us etc etc. The look of confusion on her face, she hasn't a hope of processing this

You would imagine that in an institution that specialises in children that they might have considered some of this stuff

8 years old. Ffs.
Highly irresponsible from the school.

I remember being terrified aged nine in the early 90s by a teacher going on about Judgement Day. I thought the days of scaremongering were past and that the safety and well-being of children came first.
I vividly remember our teacher in 5th class telling us about the "excruciating pain" that gay people feel when they get AIDS.

This was around 2001 I'd say, in a South side school.
