wi-fi extender query

i ain't no techie so a lot of the advice posted in this thread is basically total greek to me, sad to say

is there any cork firm who do the installation of all these wi-fi yokes?

Can you use a drill? It really is simple out. Buy an outdoor antenna, (I will send you a link to a good one)
Drill two holes to mount and another hole for the cable.
That's if you don't want run out the cable as BT suggested.
There are companies but they will charge top dollar for something you can do yourself
 
Does that mean you couldn't use a 3rd or 4th out of curiousity?
You can. I think the one I posted is a master/slave kit and you need to buy other "slave" adapters to pick up the Lan from the master adapter.

Or it could be they're all the same and whichever you plug into the router becomes the master.

I use it for home office and am very happy with it.
 
i'd prefer to get a pro to do it tbh

turns out the problem is my ethernet hub/switch and wi-fi modem in the studio can't handle siro speeds

trying to get a wi-fi modem/hub that can handle 1000-2000mbs
