Why is it ok for men to get their tits out, but not women?

It's not uncommon during summer to see lads walking around with their tops off.

But if a woman did it, it'd be a major incident. Imagine a woman walking down Pana with her tits out? PJ and Neil would get a month's worth of content out of it.

Is there any difference in the law regarding men and women, and having their tops off? Or is it simply a societal thing?

A bit of it is societal. My ex is not from these shores and she said where she’s from there’s not half as much taboo about tits as there is here.
