From a purely selfish point of view, what is best for Cork?

It's of zero benefit, either way we have not done enough to win it. Our focus is next year now. Best of luck to both teams and hopefully the final is an absolute cracker.
Feels like this might be the last hurrah for a few of the Limerick greats, I think they will summon on all their experience to overcome Galways tigerish approach.

I'm genuinely shocked Galway have only 5 AIs. I'd them down for at least double figures. And to think the easy rides they used to get. Must have been booking trains in advance for years!

Galway record is abysmal. Worse than cork footballers. In truth they are the mayo of hurling. So many times they beat us or another munster team and were the best team in the country only to give soft all irelands to kilkenny.
I hope they can reverse this with a good manager.
