Would have been more interesting to see what one or more of the following they blamed for the lack of a candidate that they feel would represent them

Constitution as it currently is
Poor Calibre of people who attempted to join the race
Poor representation of their feelings in Dail Eireann
Poor representation of their feelings in the County Councils
Party Politicisation of the race - and if so name the party(s)

If you're asking them questions anyway why not ask more questions to try get to the nub of it?
