Which Cork places would you like to live?

Seems like everyone on here thinks every place in Cork is either scummy or snobby and wouldn't like to live there so where do you think are the best places to live in Cork??

The other day my Mrs told me she wouldn't mind moving so I showed her Newmarket and said what about here?..............I think she's changed her mind!

I hope to buy in the next 12 months. Was going to go home to Ballyvolane but recent events have reminded me of why that’s not a good idea.

Glanmire, Montenottee (out of budget sadly), anywhere on the Southside apart from Mahon or Togher.

Montenotte is over rated. The immediate area of St Luke's and Lovers' Walk are great, anything else described as Montenotte is just Bishopstown on a hill.

Reasonably happy where I am but would love to be able to afford moving back to family home or neighbourhood - Mrs won’t have it though

IF I ever move out of town it would only be to Kinsale or Clon

I liked Bishopstown and Wilton for the years that I lived there.
I'd love to live in Annmount, Glounthaune. Great views. Kinsale would also be nice. Baltimore would be a smashing place to live too. Quiet in winter but lively without scumbags in summer. Great pubs there also.No too far to drive to the city either unless you have a few on board.

Montenotte is over rated. The immediate area of St Luke's and Lovers' Walk are great, anything else described as Montenotte is just Bishopstown on a hill.

Not so sure I agree. The middle Glanmire Road and Lovers Walk overlooking the docks have some incredible gaffs.

Based on the other thread.. anywhere in north Cork, that way I could live my life in the safety and comfort of knowing I'll likely never be within range of any of you deranged (and in some cases dangerous) individuals.

You'll have to escape from the Loft first and they are very weary in north Cork of fellas with jizz on their shoes!
