One of the nicest,safest beaches in Ireland and completely under utilised. Never gets crowded.

Yep that looks like Clounties in Smerwick Harbour (which is part of Béal Bán with the Three Sisters, Na Gorta Dubha and Sybil Head in the background. this harbour also houses Dún an Óir famous for the massacre of a garrison of nearly 600 soldiers, locally two of the fields are known as Gort a Ghearradh (Field of Cutting) and Gort na gCeann (Field of the Heads).
