Where in Cork am I?

I used to have a bedsit in one of the houses. The trains weren't the only things shaking the house. Happy, carefree days in the 80's.

What are those buildings like? I'd say they were stunning when first built.

The ones on Wellington Road would like be high end townhouses today were they not so decrepid. I'd say they're incredibly grim on the inside

One of the nicer places I rented but the landlady was onsite so a bit subdued. I stayed in 3 bedsits on Wellington Road, before it became a shithole, so I've heard. They were a bit basic and very dated but I wasn't there much. I was in my early 20's, had a job, money in my pocket and a few minutes walk to city centre. I was out every night and the girlfriend had a bedsit over the Whiff 'n Poof, before it became Paddy the Farmers. Good times for me.
