Sorry if I missed a previous explanation but under the symbol there's a number that appears and can fluctuate up to a few hundred and drop off just as mysteriously. What exactly does the number signify and what causes it to rise or fall? Ta

Meanwhile, I thirst for knowledge, and just wondered what the number meant. Ironically enough it has now disappeared from mine having been up at over 200

Is it a running count of how many likes your posts get? And if so, how come the number goes down as well as up? Do they subtract the number of posts you make form the number of "likes" you get? And why did it just disappear?
