What TV Series Are You Watching Now?

I liked the Ferengi episodes. Watching the small group of Ferengi develop over the course of the show, Rom, Nog, Zek, Moogi and Quark (but not Brunt) was amazing. Some clunkers of episodes but seeing the small group eventually evolve to be in a position to possibly change an entire civilisation (if you can call it that) was superb.

Also, if you haven't heard of it, there's a book by the guy who played Garak, Andrew Robinson. He wrote it during the show as a way for him to develop a relationship with his character. It goes into Garak's backstory, and then he added more about Garak's life after the show ends. It'd stand as a great sci-fi book in its own right but for DS9 fans and Star Trek fans it's a must read.
Thanks.

The individual Ferengo characters, Quark, Nog and Rom are decent characters. It's when they brought in other ferengi characters like Brunt, the Grand Negus, the mother etc and made the plot to revolve around them that I found cringe worthy.

Will look for the book alright. Garak was a superb character.

I thought Moogi was great. An intelligent woman in a sexist society who rises to be the influence behind the throne. It's a little outlandish in the coincidences that happen to bring her to that point but it's well written in the sense of being quite empowering, especially given some of the other subtle nods towards the development of women in Ferengi society along the way.

Also, you can't bate Wallace Shawn. He's a top, top actor.

Disagree.

I thought the ferengi were portrayed as a purile stupid race of people in the main. I fast forwarded a lot of the episodes

Ballard
Kind of a carry on from Bosch but not really.

LA Cop put on a cold case but as she and her team of volunteers search on more and more unravels and there’s dirty work afoot from other Cops. Watched 6 of 10 episodes so far in two nights so it’s entertaining
