That's not fairGot halfway through Season 2 of True Detective. I'd give it about a 3/10: complicated, confusing plot, poorly scripted dialogue and, of course, over the top action scenes.
Had me thinking, what's the point, other than showcasing a strong woman in a position of power giving it to (white) men and other victims of white male oppression in similar positions.
The only saving point was Cork lad Timothy Murphy - stand out performance and a great Russian accent, on a par with De Niro's Italian in Godfather 2 - but didn't have enough screen time. Miles better than that Dublin yolk, Colin Farrell, anyway. The Cork lad should have been given the lead.
Yeah, he's from Tralee. I remember him in Glenroe when he played Fidelmas love interest. Seems to be doing ok for himself in the States. Is yer man Murphy not from Kerry?
Mad to think he gets cast as a Ruski alot, being from Kerry he has that untrustworthiness look I suppose.
He was the face of Confused.com for a while too. Pays for the house in the Bahamas I suppose!Yeah, he's from Tralee. I remember him in Glenroe when he played Fidelmas love interest. Seems to be doing ok for himself in the States.
Wasn't mad about itWatching Generation Kill on Sky, really good, about Marines in the second iraq war
He was Class as an ira man in sons of anarchy as well.Yeah, he's from Tralee. I remember him in Glenroe when he played Fidelmas love interest. Seems to be doing ok for himself in the States.
