First episode of Furious was pretty good.

Holding back on the theme song was a brilliant touch too.

It showed why these characters are legends and what it took to get them there.
Even the original series handled this far better and subtly with the likes of Barristan Selmy but half of these Targyarens were prancing around from the get go.

One thing I do like is that they are portraying just how out of her depth she is now as Queen whereas Alicent Hightower has gone the opposite direction

We are watching "Damages". I watched it years ago when it came out but I can't remember it. It's well done, enjoying Glenn Close and Rose Byrne chewing the scenery!

Cheers, sounds like my kind of show.

Read a few interesting books about the Italian mob back in the early part of the 20th century. There were lots of mob wars between the Italian and Irish gangsters from about 1890 to 1930 in New York, and Chicago. The Irish ran them close too (Sticks out chest with pride).

Then Lucky Luciano came along and properly organised the Italians and it was game over.

Surprised there's never been a film or series done about it. There's stacks of material there.

I am trying to watch 'Boots' on Netflix which is centred in a USMC boot camp. I've got as far as 2 episodes but am struggling to get any further tbh
