I don’t understand why many liberals ( I consider myself to be fairly liberal) don’t seem to have major problems with a religion (Islam) that (by & large) seems to have particular rules & restrictions for females in general life as opposed to religious life

At least the Christian religions (which historically were following much the same appalling repression) have evolved/been forced mostly away from it

I think it’s incredible that feminists, gay rights advocates, & anyone interested in opposing anti-semitism haven’t got Islam in their crosshairs

Tbh, there is only two or three snowflakes that will try get you. They hate that people here don't confirm with their closeted opinions. Just don't reply to them and you should survive
You can only point out failings of certain beliefs here, Christian conservatism, Catholicism are fair game but Islam is a no go area despite their certain similarities.

Totally agree.

I think it's because it tends to be brown skinned people who practice it.

It's a type of bigotry of low expectations from the left.

Also many people understandably think that nobody could actually believe the stuff inherent in the religion.......but they really do.

Not excusing what's going on in the middle east at the moment but we would have much more in common with an Israeli society than Palestinian one.

Tommy wanted a holiday to chill and relax, he decided on Columbia, good call as there would be plenty of marching powder. He arrived in Bogotá. Border control (an alien concept to some here) decided he was a threat to national security and decided to deport him (another alien concept to some here). Oh and they gave up watching Ricky Lake and Jerry Spring and said it helped them/ him find almost like a type of half steamed angry enlightenment. It’s not a perfect strategy as we can see by its constant virtue signalling but it helps they/ he to get through their miserable day. Wet brain Furry.

Another American 79 year old boomer ( rare species) spends their/his day online calling Irishmen racist when said Furrys country is deeply embroiled in most major wars and is being ripped apart by said Furrys ideology
Could have being that old furry that got dragged away after the assassination of Kirk.

Because they refuse to separate Islam as a dangerous ideology from Muslims. They forget that there are many many white Muslims.
