Welcome Palestine

🤔
I have no need to read my own post Crusty. Maybe you should read it again to show that you aren't a "psuedo superior", dismissive poster.
What I've been trying to get across, for anyone who hasn't understood, is that the incidents of anti-semetism in Ireland, while nasty, can in no way be compared to what innocent Palestinians are suffering at the hands of the current murderous Israeli govt and the Zionist land grabbers. Surely any fair- minded person can see and understand this.

What have Irish jews and the antisemitism they are experiencing got to do with that?

Into collective jewish responsibility for the actions of the Israeli government which is nonsensical.

You blithely dismiss the concerns of The Jewish Representative Council of Ireland. You lend no weight to its community-documented report on antisemitic incidents in early 2026, recording 143 cases over roughly six months (July 2025–January 2026).

Rattling off nonsense about Gaza in response to the flurry of antisemitism being experienced here , in our country by Irish jews.

You throw about the term 'zionist' and 'zio' as a pejorative or coded slur targeting jews, functioning as a stand-in for “Jew” while providing plausible deniability.
This practice is well documented and has been explicitly pointed out to you yet you continue.
You often accompany it with classic antisemitic tropes (control of media, dual loyalty, dehumanization as “pigs/vermin/rats,” Holocaust inversion, or collective blame for Israeli actions.

You tick all the boxes m8.

Where did I blithely dismiss those concerns?

You're the one that's rattled off nonsense about antisemitism in the face of multiple cases of atrocities carried out in Palestine by Israel hoping to conflate Israel and Judaism even though time and again it's been shown that Israel and Judaism are two different things.

I use the term Zionist to describe those, like you, who constantly puts forward the case for Israel and denigrates that of Palestinians even in the face of evidence of the atrocities being carried out on an almost daily basis by Israelis

You again use your lies to accuse me of trying to dehumanise anyone, the very tool that Israel is using on Palestinians in the hope that we would ignore their plight.

And then when you're not accusing others of Antisemitism even where it doesn't exist you bring up the Holocaust which was an utterly shameful period of German history 70+ years ago. But even Jews who suffered but managed to survive the death camps have said what's going on in Palestine is unforgivable

Are those Jews in the photo below Antisemitic because they're pro-Palestinian?

More nonsense.

Erra carry on, never learn anything. Classic Soundy.

Only repeating the trend started by that poisonous midget that used be in the Aras:

Higgins verbatim said about antisemitism in Ireland (one day after being informed personally of serious concerns by members of the *Irish* Jewish community):'it is simply something that is a PR exercise by an administration that is guilty of continuing - not historic - continuing breaches of international law as is happening in relation to the events in Gaza.'

I think many people mistakenly equate Judaism and Israel. No Jew should be discriminated against just because of the actions of the Israeli government and their armed forces. There are many many Jews campaigning for Palestinian people and are absolutely disgusted by the actions of the Israeli government.

🤔
Jesus suffering Christ!
The anti-semetism in Ireland at the moment is directly linked to the Israeli barbarity in Gaza.
It's hardly fucking rocket science is it!

What's classic is your repeated avoidance of answering the question on who you do and don't like to label antisemites, a term you like to use liberally, but get shown up as being very stupid when presented with lots of evidence of Jews being totally against what Israel is doing.

It is NOT antisemitic to criticise Israel for the atrocities it carries out no matter how much you pretend that it is. And your over-use, and misuse of the term antisemitism is taking from the power of the term in the help to stamp out the evil of actual antisemitism.

No, the existence of Jews who protest against Israeli policies does not excuse, neutralize, or redefine antisemitism.

Jewish opinion is not monolithic.

A minority of Jews (often on the progressive left, in diaspora activist groups, or among the ultra-Orthodox) criticize or oppose Israeli policies, sometimes sharply.

That is free speech and debate. Citing those individuals or organizations (“Even Jews say…”) does not immunize broader rhetoric that traffic in antisemitic tropes, target Jewish civilians or institutions, or deny Jewish people the same national self-determination granted to others.

Just like pointing to Black critics of certain civil-rights organizations does not erase anti-Black racism.

Get a new trick.

Lovely bit of Zionist rhetoric there Dan - "deny Jewish people the same national self-determination granted to others"

What other religions get their own "national self-determination" granted to them??? A "national self-determination" that has seen them drive out the natives from vast tracts of their own lands, and then go on to bomb various neighbouring countries, all the while ever expanding.

Exactly which nations and/or religions in particular have you and your fellow Zionists got in mind with that claptrap?

National self-determination is a principle for peoples/nations, not "religions" as abstract sets of beliefs. Not a demand that every faith get a theocracy.

Pakistan was explicitly created as a homeland for the Muslims of British India.

The point is that Jews were uniquely denied it for centuries. The historical record is not a cartoon of "drive out the natives then bomb and expand".

Every nation state in the region (and most elsewhere) has borders shaped by war, migration, and demographic change. Selective outrage that treats only the Jewish case as uniquely illegitimate is the tell for antisemites.

If the standard is "no people whose state formation involved conflict, displacement, or later military action against neighbors gets self-determination," almost no modern country qualifies.

No.

Antisemitism directed at Irish Jews is not “directly linked” to anything the Israeli government does in Gaza in a way that excuses or explains it as rational.

It is the classic application of collective guilt to an entire people for the policies of a foreign government they do not control, vote in, or represent.

No better than the discrimination experienced by Irish people who lived in the UK because of the actions of the IRA.
