On a thread about Palestine, the lot of how Jewish people are being treated in Ireland is described as "absolute hell" by a Zionist. I never blamed those Jewish people, I was pointing out the absolute hypocrisy of the Zionist here claiming hat the Jewish people in Ireland were going through "absolute hell" while at the same time he dismisses the actual hell that is being endured by Palestinians at the hands of Israel.

Can you tell us what your Jewish acquaintances have had to endure that equates to "absolute hell" in your mind??

Don't think anyone should be discriminated against because of their religion (or non belief) as long as they're not interfering with anyone going about their lawful business - be that Catholic/Protestant/Jew/Muslim/Druid/Pagan/Agnostic etc. Fairly sure the government brought in legislation to cover this to be honest and if it's "absolute hell" they should certainly be able to go to the gardai about it.

All religions, as long as they respect the rights of others which I believe the vast majority of the major ones do, are fine by me, as is agnosticism and paganism and everything peaceful in between.

Edit: I've read the rest of your post and you say your Jewish friend is being spat upon and is feeling she has to leave the country as a result. That's absolutely disgraceful. Nobody could condone that treatment. It absolutely shouldn't happen and she should report such assaults to the gardai.

I have no need to read my own post Crusty. Maybe you should read it again to show that you aren't a "psuedo superior", dismissive poster.
What I've been trying to get across, for anyone who hasn't understood, is that the incidents of anti-semetism in Ireland, while nasty, can in no way be compared to what innocent Palestinians are suffering at the hands of the current murderous Israeli govt and the Zionist land grabbers. Surely any fair- minded person can see and understand this.
If I were talking to a Jew tomorrow, I'd give my honest opinion without any vulgar language or insults Crusty ok!
