The reason why Iran, is in the position it's in, is largely down to the UK and US shoving the Shāh into power some back in the 1950's.

They did that for financial reasons.

Why, because Iran want a Nuke.

I don't find Iran any more terrifying than the countries above, and if you'll remember, only one country has used Nuclear weapons on people.

Back in 2012 the gdp per capita of iran was the same as Turkey, today it's half that, largely down to sanctions.

Social media, internet access, government corruption, sanctions etc are pissing people off.

I'm not arrogant enough to claim to have a silver bullet here, but the son of the Shah has been in exile for 47 years, he is not the silver bullet.

I have a lot of sympathy for the people of Iran, and I have enough respect for them to do my research, and not just watch sky news and get into a rage.

Theres thousands being gunned down. The Iranian regime arent responding to an act of war. Theyre slaughtering their own people for peacefully protesting
