There is an element that is actually upset that this war is not going on, and there are some elements of the Irish Palestinian Protestor community.
If actual peace broke out and there was an end to the conflict, the lads wouldn't know what to do.
They would be like the greyhound that caught the rabbit at the end of the race. Their purpose in life busted.

I don't think this is the end of the overall conflict, but perhaps an end to this particular escalation.

Probably pick one of the other conflicts going on that they’ve been ignoring all along. Ukraine might be back on their radar.

According to an expert on Morning Ireland this morning even the US want Hamas to fill the power vacuum in Gaza at least for the moment. He said Dugmush were responsible in the past for kidnapping BBC reporter amongst others and looking for ransom and he gave the impression that whatever about Hamas and their barbarous methods to achieve political ends, this Dugmush crowd are merely a criminal enterprise that are trying to avail of the ceasefire.

At least the trucks with food are now getting in - the trucks the Israelis assured the world they weren't stopping.

A bit like the drug gangs killing each other here, the only good I see is this is that casualties on both of these sides are beneficial but the danger to the innocent public is horrific

Short of a strong controlling force is it likely Gaza might go into civil war? If so It won’t be long before Israel go back in there

Food going in in substantial quantities is great news

Israel will be holding free fair democratic elections no later 27.10.26 — that’ll be one to watch

I’d rather a ex IDF member living alongside me than an ex Hamas op — imho less chance of them or their descendants driving lorries into queues of people or stabbing priests & children
