Welcome Palestine

Well if you're utterly clueless on the history of Palestine you can

Do you really think there was peace and harmony in the region without anyone being killed by an invading army and their pals prior to Oct 7th?
No of course there wasn’t peace and harmony but The Gaza war started in October 2023. It’s not the first war between Hamas and Gaza but it’s by far the deadliest.

Israel didn’t need much of an excuse to wipe Gaza off the planet but Hamas certainly gave them a pretext for this war.

On today's level of murder and genocide? You don't put any blame whatsoever on Hamas for that? Hamas gave carte blanch to Israel to do whatever they want in Gaza, including murdering babies and starving people to death on a huge scale. Did this happen before October 7th?

Don't try to put words into my mouth. What Hamas did on October 7th was deplorable and I've always said as much. None of those innocent civilians should have been killed or taken hostage.

But 50,000 wrongs don't make a right. And the killing of Palestinian children didn't begin on October 7th, and 30,000 child victims of Israel's terror is clearly not enough for some.

How on earth is even the depraved attack on October 7th "carte blanch to Israel to do whatever they want in Gaza, including murdering babies and starving people to death on a huge scale"

You appear to be suggesting that the uprising in the Warsaw Ghetto gave carte blanch to Germany to do whatever they wanted in Poland, including murdering babies and starving people to death on a huge scale.

The Gaza war????? It is not a war when one side has all the arms and weaponry and the other side are being bombed to death in their homes or tents.

It's not a f**ken war, it's a genocide, or at the very least a state army carrying out an official policy of ethnic cleansing on a major scale using utter barbarity.

Why on earth anyone would think that "Israel didn't need much of an excuse to wipe Gaza off the planet" is mind boggling. There are over 2Million people, men, women, and children who live and breath there, why would ANYONE think Israel didn't need muh of an excuse to wipe Gaza off the planet??????????
It's pretty clear to see how biassed some people here really are.

@Yermon Israel have committed war crime after war crime and continue to do so.

Do you also accept that Hamas steals food from civilians and sells it back to them to fund their operations?

How many of Hamas's leaders are/were brave? Most of them were killed cowering in the tunnels. Sinwar being a notable exception. IDF shot themselves in the foot showing his last moments because he was brave and defiant up until his least breath. That's worthy of respect.

Just because it’s a genocide doesn’t mean it isn’t a war. There have been several genocidal campaigns as part of wars in the past, such as in Rwanda. Its internationally accepted that this is a war between Israel and Hamas but that Israel are clearly not limiting targets to Hamas.

Show me where I said you said that.

If you want to play silly buggers then off you f**k, but I hadn't even posted that in response to you, it was in response to the clype. But it seems you are stretching to take offence
Yerrah that’s just childish Soundy.

So what are we as a nation or Western Society doing about that? Shrug our shoulders and say "we the little people can't do much so let's just grin and bear it" or voice our objections to it when we get the chance?

Have you evidence or independently verified sources that show Hamas steals food from civilians and sells it back to fund their operations or is that just another Israeli lie like the hospitals are just covers for Hamas installations?

I know little of Hamas and their leaders or the IDF and theirs. Not sure what point you're trying to make about their bravery tbh. I think the taking of any civilian hostage (something the Israelis have been doing for decades btw) is disgusting.

There's no genocide in Gaza. The numbers don't lie. There's over 2million people and only 52,000 dead. If there was even a disorganised genocide then there'd have to be half a million dead at least. It would have to count as the wprst attempt st genocide ever. The IDF in conducting this tricky operation are pretty much ahead of the curve in comparison to say the Americans in Fallujah. I'm ex military ,and those are the facts.
There could be ethnic cleansing going on but no real proof of that either. The population is being moved around but it hasn't been expelled yet. I think ultimately alot of Gazans will leave voluntarily.
Thirdly the Irish government finds it real easy to condemn Israel but has no real clue how to move forward. From the outside looking in Martin and especially Harris are Anti Israel but neither of them have a clue on how to A Protect Israel and B help the Gazans. What they really want is a return to pre Oct 7th and that's not an option.
