I'd much prefer our politicians concentrated on issues that actually affect the people of Ireland, such as housing, migration, and the price of drink.

I understand why we lick the arse off the US, because they're hugely important for our economy and would hopefully give us a dig out if we ever got invaded.

But what do we get out of siding with Hamas? Do we even trade anything with Palestine?

And as you say Israel are far more important to Ireland's economy than Palestine, so why are we picking sides at all in something that has nothing to do with us, and alienating important business links?

Also if Israel is a "terrorist state", I don't see why Ireland, a country which has fuck all means of defending itself, would want to antagonise them.

Same shit with Russia. We think we're great imposing sanctions and throwing rocks at Russia. Truth is if they wanted to they could land a few ships off our coast and overrun the country in a few hours.

Ireland should stay the fuck out of these things and let the big boys look after it. Far more important to address our countless domestic issues instead.
