Any members of that group on here? I joined it as it seemed to be one of the many Cork Facebook groups that posted photos of Cork & stories about Cork.

About 9 months to a year ago the whole group seemed to change from a benign nostalgic group into a right wing Pro Trump, anti immigration, anti Ukraine, Pro Russia grouping.
As soon as the “We Are Cork” poster throws something up there are always 20/30 likes and a number of comments supporting whatever Trump/Musk theory is posted.

Now that the coke head rapist McGregor is talking about a tilt at the Presidential campaign they are bigging him up as their latest champion.

I have no idea if those who are giving it likes or who are piling on with the comments are bots or genuine Cork people but it’s getting a lot of traction.

That’s the thing.. everyone that posts/comments are from Cork.

I’d have a big enough footprint on facebook (lots of friends) so looking at most of the posts on other Cork related facebook pages I would generally know one of those posters or they are a friend of a friend. But never on this facebook group.
I’m convinced the comments are bot generated.

Someone somewhere is putting a lot of thought and effort into that group.
